This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is processed when you use the “Lorey” app.

2. Data processed

• Account data: email, username, profile image (if uploaded), hometown (optional).
• Usage data: created voice posts, transcripts, tags, up-/downvotes, follows.
• Location data: only with consent, to show nearby posts.
• Device/log data: IP address, timestamps, technical metadata for API requests.
• Audio content: uploaded audio files and their transcription.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing app functionality (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Security, troubleshooting, and abuse prevention (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Location features only with consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

4. Processors and services

• Supabase (hosting, auth, database, storage).
• Google Maps (maps/location display).

No tracking or analytics services are used. Data is not shared for advertising purposes.

5. Storage location and retention

Data is stored on the servers of the service providers listed above. It is retained as long as necessary to provide the app. When an account is deleted, the account, content, files, and links are deleted; log data is deleted after a reasonable period unless longer retention is legally required.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability, and to withdraw consent. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

7. Access to device features

• Microphone: recording posts.
• Location: showing and filtering nearby posts.
• Storage/files: uploading audio.

These accesses occur only with consent; without consent the respective features are not available.

8. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 years of age.
